The Catholic Encyclopedia admits the Bible's Corruption

"No book of ancient times has come down to us exactly as it left the hands of its author - all have been in some way altered.

The material conditions under which a book was spread before the invention of printing (1440), the little care of the copyists, correctors, and glossators for the text, so different from the desire of accuracy exhibited to-day, explain sufficiently the divergences we find between various manuscripts of the same work.

To these causes may be added, in regard to the Scriptures, exegetical difficulties and dogmatical controversies. To exempt the scared writings from ordinary conditions a very special providence would have been necessary, and it has not been the will of God to exercise this providence.

More than 150,000 different readings have been found in the older witnesses to the text of the New Testament- which in itself is a proof that Scriptures are not the only, nor the principal, means of revelation."

⇛ Refuting The so called Jesus' divinity proofs.

◕ Because he is the Son of God.

⇨ Many are termed as son of God in the Bible. Adam [Luke 3:38] & Solomon [1 Chronicles 28:6] & Moses [Exodus 4:22] & Ephraim [Jeremiah 31:9] and many others.

◕ Because he is the "begotten son".⇨ David also was the begotten son of God [Psalms 2:7I]

◕ Because he was the Son of God with Capital "S"⇨The Semitic languages (Arabic, Aramaic, Hebrew) don't use capital and lower-case lettering.

◕ Because he performed miracles.

⇨Jesus can not do any miracles without permission of God.By myself I can do nothing [John 5:30]

⇨ God did the Miracles through Jesus.Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, Which God Did among you Through Him, as you yourselves know.” [Acts 2:22]

⇨ Jesus Miracles was not unique.Elijah and Elisha brought the dead back to life.[1 Kings 17:20-23] [2 Kings 4:30-36] [2 Kings 13:20-22] Moses created a live snake from a wooden stick. [Exodus 4:2-4] Elisha cured the Blind and he even blinded a whole army. [2 Kings 6:15-24] Elisha healed leprosy. [2 Kings 5:10-14] Elisha fed hundreds of people with few loafs of bread. [2 Kings 4:42-44]

◕ Because he was called 'Lord'.

⇨ In the Bible we find that this was a common practice with many others besides Jesus. Abraham [Genesis 18:12] Esau [Genesis 32:4] Joseph [Genesis 44:20] David [1 Samuel 25:24]

◕ Because he was the Christ (Messiah)

⇨ Messiah means the anointed one which refers to a Man chosen by God and to be a leader and a future King. The Messiah is not considered to be God or a Son of God [Exodus 29:7 & I Kings 1:39 & II Kings 9:3 & Isaiah 11:2][Shabbat Shalom, "Interview: Rabbi Harvey H. Spivak," April/1997: 5]

◕ Because he was called a mighty God in [Isaiah 9:6]

⇨ The word for "Almighty" is applied exclusively to God in the OT is the Hebrew word "Shadday" but the word used in this verse is e not "Shadday" (Almighty God) but rather "Gibbowr" (mighty God) which is translated as; warrior, tyrant:-champion, chief, excel, giant, man, mighty (man, one), strong (man), valiant man [Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary by James Strong]

⇨ The word translated as "God" here is the Hebrew word "El" which in addition to it's use to refer to God Almighty in the Bible is also used to refer to mighty men & demons & angels & to idols.

"I have said, Ye (the Jews) are gods; and all of you are children of the most High" [Psalms 82:6]" And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh"[Exodus 7:1] as well as "the god of this world (the Devil) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not." [2 Corinthians 4:4]

◕ Because he said "I am" and that he was before Abraham in [John 8:58]

⇨ In [Exodus 3:4] prophet Moses used this exact same term (I am) to refer to himself "And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here I am."

⇨ Prophet Solomon said in [Proverbs 8:23-27]“ Ages ago I was set up at the first, before the beginning of the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water, Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth; before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world When he established the heavens, I was there.”

⇨ In Qur'an God informed that man existed in the spiritual form before the creation of the physical world. “When your Lord gathered all of Adam’s descendants [before creation] and made them bear witness for themselves, saying: ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They all replied: Yes indeed, we bear witness. [That was] so you could not say on the Day of Judgement: ‘We were unaware of this.’ ” [7:172]

⇨ The context of [John 8:54-58] Jesus was talking about God’s knowledge of His prophets, which predates the creation of this world.

◕ Because He was worshiped.

⇨ The word "Worship" in English carries a double meaning. The one most popular among most people is "to pray to." It also means "to respect," "to reverence," or "to adore" [Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, tenth edition]

⇨ In the "New English Bible" translation we find the same word translated as"bowed to the ground" & "fell at his feet" & "falling prostrate before him"

⇨ In the "The Complete Bible Translation" we find it translate the same word as"they threw themselves down and did homage to him" & "fell down before him" & "and they went up to him and clasped his feed and bowed to the ground before him" & "bowed down before him"

⇨ In the Bible we find that this was a common practice with many others besides Jesus as a sign of respect.

"And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, [upon] me [let this] iniquity [be]: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid." [1 Samuel 25:23-24]

"Then she went in, and fell at his (Elisha's) feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out." [2 Kings 4:37]also see [Genesis 50:18] and [2 Samuel 19:18]

◕ Because he forgave sins.

⇨ If Christianity believes that forgiving sins is a sign of divinity then what about the many millions of people in the Christian clergy who over the last 2000 years have publicly accepted people's "confessions" and "forgiven" their sins?

◕ Because he said "I am the Alpha and the Omega" [Revelation 1:11]

⇨ This "Alpha and Omega, the first and the last " was inserted by the trinitirians to support their claim about Jesus' divinity but their attempt met a big failure after exposing their fabrication as this sentence does not even exist in the original text.

⇨ The original text as in NIV & NASV & RSV & NRSV & NC says:□ saying, "Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Per'gamum and to Thyati'ra and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to La-odice'a." [Revelation 1:11]So this verse was deleted from the Bible and does not exist in the "Holy Bible".

◕ Because he said "...baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" [Matthew 28:19]

⇨ This verse does not indicate that the three names mentioned are "co-equal" in their status.

⇨ This part of the verse is quite clearly an addition to Biblical text - that is, not the actual words of Jesus - as can be seen by two factors:

1- Baptism in the early Church, as discussed by Paul in his letters, was done only in the name of Jesus.2- The "Great Commission" found in the first gospel written, that of Mark, bears no mention of Father, Son and/or Holy Ghost [seeMark 16:15]

◕ Because he and the father are one [John 10:30]

⇨ What Jesus meant by the word one (hen) becomes clear from his prayer concerning the apostles: "That they may be one [hen], just as we are one [hen]" (John 17:22) which means that they should be united in agreement with one another as he (Jesus) is always united in agreement with God, as stated:"I [Jesus] always do the things that are pleasing to Him [God]" (John 8:29).There is thus no implication that Jesus and God, or the twelve apostles are to be considered as of one essence.

◕ Because he was sinless.

⇨ There is no correlation between being sinless and being divine. Christians build the premise but it’s a false premise as God cannot be subjected to SIN standards so saying that Jesus was sinless is a proof of his humanity not a proof of divinity.

⇨ Jesus did not consider himself to be perfect neither, and this comes from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 19 which reads:And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (18-19)

◕ Because he said "He that hath seen me hath seen the father."⇨ The context:"Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" [John 14:8-9]

⇨ Philip wanted to see God with his own eyes, but this is impossible since no one can ever do ever do that. The Bible says:"No man hath seen God at any time" [John 1:18]"No man hath seen God at any time" [1 John 4:12]So Jesus simply told him that his own actions and miracles should be a sufficient proof of the existence of God without God having to physically come down and let himself be seen every time someone is doubtful.

◕ Because he said "I am the way, the truth and the life" [John 14:6]⇨ Every prophet is "the way and the truth and the life" for his nation in his time.

◕ Because he was filled with the Holy Ghost⇨ So was John the Baptist [Luke 1:15] also Barnabas [Acts 11:24].

◕ Because he was called “MY LORD AND MY GOD” [John 20:28]⇨ The Context "Then he (Jesus) said to Thomas, 'Reach here your finger, and see my hands, and reach here your hand, and put it into my side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.' Thomas answered and said to him, 'My Lord and my God!'"

⇨ The last phrase "My Lord and my God!" was not an answer as there is no question but it was an outburst by Thomas, having seen something inexplicable and baffling. Just like that anyone who says "O' my God!" when he sees something totally bizarre.

◕ Because Jews tried to stone him for claiming to be God [John 10:29-33]

⇨ He actually was not claiming to be God but the Jews were to indict him "by hook or by crook" regardless of what he said. They may have considered him a false Messiah. Jesus’ answer was revealing he told them that you are called gods also just as like him [John 10:34]. In [Ps. 82:6] humans are called gods, allegorically, Moses was sent as “ God “ to the Pharaoh [Exo. 7:1].

◕ Because he is the Word in [John 1:1]"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

⇨ The text does not read "In the beginning was Jesus". John did not write the word Jesus in his original manuscript. If he had meant that, he could have simply used the name Jesus.

⇨ The literal translation reads:In the beginning was the 'spoken word, command',and the 'spoken word, command' was with God,and the 'spoken word, command' was Divine. [John 1:1]

⇨ If we continued reading [John 1:2 & 3] it says:It was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through it and without it not one thing came into being.

⇨ The word it refers to the command of God not to anything else this will become very clear if you read [Psalms 33:6 & 9]:“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth ..... For He SPAKE, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”

DECLASSIFIED U.S. STATE DEPT NOTES PROVIDE INSIGHT INTO WHY THE PHILIPPINES HAD TO GO IT ALONE ON SABAH CLAIM BACK IN THE 60s

To complete the 'historical circle' of why we possibly are having the most difficult time claiming Sabah back, here's another anecdote that everyone must hear, courtesy of Ms Yolanda Ortega Stern

FOREIGN RELATIONS OF THE UNITED STATES, 1964–1968VOLUME XXVI, INDONESIA;MALAYSIA-SINGAPOREPHILIPPINES, DOCUMENT 367

367. Action Memorandum From the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs (Bundy) to Secretary of State Rusk 1

Washington, May 20, 1968.

SUBJECT

The Sabah Dispute and ASEANDiscussion:As you will recall, at the luncheon May 9, Foreign Minister Thanat raised the question of the Philippine-Malaysian dispute over Sabah and his concern that the dispute may disrupt the ASEAN ministerial meeting in August. Thanat plans to reason with both parties before the bilateral talks on Sabah open in Bangkok June 17. He would like us to persuade President Marcos to cool off the quarrel. We did not at the time so inform Thanat, but we have told the Filipinos informally, when they mentioned the issue, that we thought they should quiet the matter. (See Manila 8618 and State 136076 attached at Tab B.)2

After giving the matter further thought, and discussing it with the Country Directors in EA, I believe that we should continue to avoid active intervention in the Sabah dispute, and to avoid initiating discussions on this issue with any of the interested governments. In arriving at this conclusion, I considered the following points:

(1) Seriousness of Present Impasse—We expect the Bangkok talks on Sabah to fail, with mutual recriminations. Malaysia intends to reject the Philippine claim outright and to refuse a second round of talks, even if (according to one senior Malaysian official) the Philippines react by breaking diplomatic relations again. The Malaysians also plan to stage a military demonstration in Sabah while the bilateral talks are going on. On the Philippine side, President Marcos is reported to have reversed the moderate line urged by Foreign Secretary Ramos, and the Department of Foreign Affairs is now taking a “second hard look” at the relative priorities of regional cooperation and the Sabah claim.

(2) Sabah as a Southeast Asian Problem—We have told both the Filipinos and the Malaysians that we consider Sabah primarily a problem which they will have to work out for themselves. Other members of ASEAN, working separately or jointly, may be able to help them work out a face-saving compromise, or to persuade them at least to try to contain the dispute in order to minimize the damage to regional cooperation. I believe that advice or pressure from outside powers, however well-intended, would only weaken the sense of responsibility of ASEAN members for handling their own affairs, and that at this point, we can best encourage the development of ASEAN by standing aside and letting the member states decide for themselves how to deal with the potential threat posed by the Sabah dispute.

(3) U.S.-Philippine Relations and Philippines in Southeast Asia—I believe that it would be unwise especially for the U.S. to attempt to guide or influence the Philippines on this issue. Such a move would encourage the Filipinos' tendency to draw us into their affairs and then to consider us responsible for the situation. It would also reinforce the view held by other Southeast Asian nations that the Philippine Government cannot be dealt with as a responsible Government, but must be approached through Uncle Sam, who will keep them in line. If the Philippines is to play a responsible role in Southeast Asian affairs, Fililpino leaders must learn to conduct their affairs without guidance from us, and to bear the consequences of their mistakes.

The attached telegram (Tab A)3 would instruct Bangkok to follow up the luncheon conversation of May 9 with Thanat with a fuller discussion of the Sabah issue, and to outline an appropriate portion of the reasoning I have given above. Other addressees would be authorized to draw on the message in discussions with interested officials, but not to raise the Sabah question independently.

Recommendation:

That you sign the attached telegram to Bangkok concerning the Sabah dispute.

======================

My thoughts off the cuff:

I have come across some similar documents -- declassified State Dept documents but not as clear as this. I suppose these notes were written during the SEATO meeting in Bangok (Lyndon Johnson was there)

WE WERE "SOLD"! What makes me think that the Sabah claim was "sold"? Because of this portion in the State Dept report:

"(3) U.S.-Philippine Relations and Philippines in Southeast Asia—I believe that it would be unwise especially for the U.S. to attempt to guide or influence the Philippines on this issue. If the Philippines is to play a responsible role in Southeast Asian affairs, Fililpino leaders must learn to conduct their affairs without guidance from us, and to bear the consequences of their mistakes."

"Fililpino leaders must learn to conduct their affairs without guidance from us" but at the same time, the US always expected us to toe the line when it came to their desiderata. Extraordinary! They really wanted us on leash -- to bark when they said so and to heel at command and at the same time, we were expected to 'act independently.' Simply simply extraordinary!

This how-to-handle-the-Philippines policy'must have been the same stand since 1963 when the Philippines filed a protest with the UN about the planned Malaysia Federation incorporating Sabah and Sarawak. We did not received any backing for our protest with the UN from our American allies. There's been no evidence that they did.

My question has now been half answered, i.e., "Why did not the Americans want to help us pursue the Sabah claim?" My most generous thought is that they couldn't be bothered -- but that's only part of the answer... There is a tactical or perhaps, more serious strategical reason and that's what I would like to find out. I say this because Britain helped their former colony Malaya Federation (which is now Malaysia Federation following the 1963 annexation of Sabah and Sarawak) -- America could have done the same for us. Really they could have.

At the same time, the State Dept or the CIA must have been aware of the Marcos preparations for Oplan Merdeka, the first physical attempt by the Philippines to re-take North Borneo or Sabah, a plan that he had begun to put up in earnest in 1967 or a year before this note was released...

They [the Americans] could not have ignored that... Were they just simply turning a blind eye but at the same time knew that they would step in and stop Marcos one way or the other if he went ahead and carried with his plans to "invade" Sabah?

A relative of mine who had been a legal adviser to one of the presidents and who later on became defence undersecretary for another Philippine president had informed me that in early 1968, the US had agreed to transfer vessels to the Philippines which the US knew -- no way they wouldn't have known because they were already aware of Oplan Merdeka somehow -- would be used to ferry troops across Sabah... At the last minute when Jabidah Massacre was exposed, the vessels were turned back and sailed back to Vietnam.

These are not conjenctures. They were events that happened prior to the failed Philippine re-taking of Sabah or the denunciation of the covert operation made famous by media as the Jabidah Massacre. But the big question remains: Why did America not support our Sabah claim bid?

The Bangsamoro Liberation War

Very few Muslims talk about Bangsamoro, which is not surprising as very few Muslims even know where it is or what it is. Whilst Palestine, Syria or Iraq are spoken about on the minbars and the Ummah rallies to support the Muslims in those lands, the Muslims of Bangsamoro continue their struggle with little support. The Bangsamoro Liberation War stands out among all conflicts in the Ummah if not solely because of its length, the Muslims of Bangsamoro have been engaged in a conflict that has lasted for 490 years, which makes it all the more shameful that most of us have never heard of it.

Bangsamoro is located south of the Philippines and to the East of Malaysia and Brunei. It is comprised of 4 main areas, the island of Mindanao, the islands of Sulu, the island of Palawan and Sabah which is part of the island of Borneo. When all of the smaller islands are counted the total number of islands in Bangsamoro exceeds 7,000. However, the bulk of the land is made up of the island of Mindanao which is the largest island of Bangsamoro.

The name Bangsamoro is derived from the word 'bangsa' which means 'land/nation' and 'Moro' which is the name that the Muslims of the region use to refer to themselves, though the term is ultimately derived from the era of Al-Andalus when the Muslims would be called 'Moros'. Therefore Bangsamoro translates as 'Land/Nation of the Muslims' which is why it earns itself the title of Bangsamoro Darul Islam.

The Muslims of Bangsamoro ruled over all of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan, Sabah and also the cities of Mactan and Manila (the current capital of the Philippines) until Spanish and Portuguese Crusaders came and fought them, wanting to conquer their lands. The Spanish were led by Ferdinand Magellan, the infamous explorer who was killed by the Muslims in the Battle of Mactan. The leader of the Muslims who fought the Crusaders was Khalifa Lapu (known colloquially as Lapu-Lapu) who is a hero of the Bangsamoro nation.

The Spanish managed to take Manila and Mactan and much of Palawan, however they could never defeat the Muslims of Mindanao or Sulu. For centuries the Muslims remained independent, despite constant attacks by the Spanish. Eventually the British inherited many Spanish lands and became involved, however they too could not defeat the Muslims. Later the Japanese invaded during World War II and were similarly unable to conquer the Muslim populations of Mindanao or Sulu. The next army to come were the Americans who despite being barbaric in their attacks were also unable to subdue the Muslims. Since the Americans entered, the Filipino nation was born, and they, hand in hand with the Americans have fought the Muslims of Bangsamoro, still unable to defeat the Mujahideen.

The region of Sabah was claimed by the British who had conquered Malaysia, however the Muslims of Mindanao never accepted this, and when Malaysia became independent, the new nation made a claim to Sabah, despite the fact that it was not their land, rather it belonged to the Sultanate of Sulu.

The Muslims of Bangsamoro have been fighting for centuries, with very little support from the Muslim Ummah, yet they have never given up. Most recently the Moro Uprising began when the Filipino terrorist army slaughtered 200 innocent Muslims in the Jabidah Massacre, and led by Nur Misuari, the Muslims of Bangsamoro once again laid siege to the invaders to finally liberate the land of Bangsamoro. The struggle continues until today, and the Muslims have formed many groups to fight for their liberation, the MNLF, the MILF, Abu Sayyaf, BIFF and many others, however they are all united in the struggle for the liberation of Bangsamoro.

In the last week, a group of Muslims loyal to Jamulul Kiram III, a claimant to the Sultanate of Sulu entered into Sabah which is occupied by the Malaysian government and a large Christian population who are known for their oppression against Moros residing there. The Malaysian government sent in their Army who attacked the group killing 10 of them, as well as sending in planes to bomb the area of Lahad Datu where they set up base. The MNLF (Moro National Liberation Front) has said that as many as 10,000 of their fighters may be making their way to Sabah to protect Jamalul Kiram and his men.

It must be noted, that the MNLF, led by Nur Misuari have been consistent in their claim since their founding that Bangsamoro must be ruled by the Shari'ah and that the land will be an Islamic state, as it was in the past. The family of Misuari are devout and pious Muslims, his sons studied in Al-Azhar and taught at Islamic centres in the UAE, and his daughters wear the niqab and are covered head to toe. His closest advisors are all Islamically educated, the leader of the MNLF Mujahideen and advisor to Misuari is Ustadz Khabir Malik, a graduate of Madinah University and a scholar as well as a Mujahid.

The Malaysian government on the other hand is an apostate government who does not rule by Shari'ah nor has any desire to do so. Other than PAS (Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party) there is no effort from any political group to implement Islam, and therefore the re-conquest of Sabah by the Mujahideen and implementation of the Shari'ah must be a goal that is welcomed by all Muslims, as well as the entire re-conquest of all Bangsamoro lands.

Paul vs Jesus & the Disciples

❖ Jesus said "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. [Matthew 7:15]

Paul was rejected by the Disciples of Jesus ☞ But when saul (Paul) had come to Jerusalem he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him and did not believe that he was a disciple [Acts 9:26]

Paul cursed the disciples ☛ If we or an angel from heaven preach any other Gospel to you than what we have preached to you let him be a curse " [Gal 1:18]

Paul complained to his Disciple Timothy ☛ This you know that all those in Asia (Disciples and real followers of Jesus) have turned away from me [2 Tim. 1:15]

Paul killer of the Disciples ☞ Jesus said " He was a murderer from the beginning " [John 8:44]

☞ Saul was in hearty agreement with putting Stephen to death. And on that day a great PERSECUTION began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles". But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison [Acts 8:1,3]

Jesus warned from Paul ☞ many will come in my name saying "I'm the Messiah" and will show signs and wonders and shall deceive many. [Matthew 24:5,24]

■ Paul admits that he did not know Jesus during Jesus' lifetime. He also says that his gospel was not taught to him by any man [Galatians 1:11,12].

■ All of Paul's theology is based on his own revelations, or visions. Like dreams, visions or hallucinations do not come from nowhere

☛ Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. [2 Cor 12:6]

Paul cursed Jesus ☛ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. [Gal 3:13]

Paul insulting God Almighty☛ For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. [Cor 1:25]

☛but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.[Cor 2:10]

☠ Paul is a liar☛For if the truth of God has more abounded through my lie to his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?[Rom 3:7]

Jesus said☞ "do not call anyone on earth your father; for one is your father, he who is in heaven " [Matthew 23:9]
